Rosa Bloom

Rosa Bloom came to our rescue when a backyard breeder relinquished 4 of his dogs to us because he was sick. There was one male and two of Rosa's grown female pups. All had previously had litters. The rest of the dogs were adoptable, but Rosa was and is still petrified. The person picking up the dogs saw the owner pick the male up by the leg, so it's no telling what was done to Rosa to scare her so.

Rosa has been with her foster for three years. She is now about 8 years old and has been on Prozac for all this time. The vet says she will have to be on it for life. She is so emotionally damaged that it's in her best interest for her to stay with her foster and feel as comfortable as she can. Rosa has come a long way and is getting all the love and care she needs now thanks to her wonderful foster family.
