Mickey was surrendered by his owner when he couldn't hold it long enough. His nails were curled into his pads; he had a severely underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism). He is an old guy who loves nothing better than a good sofa to lay on. Thankfully his foster mom and dad just purchased a new sofa with fosters in mind (it's all washable).
Recent update on Mickey: He went into CHF this week and is currently on five medications in all, three for his heart. He is feeling much better with the Pimobendan and Lasix but he was struggling. Thankful for his foster human who was able to get him in and get some meds to help.
Mickey hopes he will get a sponsor to help with the meds cost. He is such a sweet boy; let's give him some more time to soak up all the snuggles he can.
