Daisy Dixie

Daisy Dixie was in rough shape when she came into our Rescue's care. She was very thin, had overgrown nails, was missing most of her front teeth and was recovering from a UTI. Her foster noticed right away that she panting excessively, too. In her former life, she was a used for breeding and not well cared for.

A trip to our veterinarian proved that Daisy has Cushing's Disease. Currently, Daisy is on a holistic regimen to suppress her cortisol levels and she's thriving on a homemade, organic diet. She also receives accupuncture every other week!

Daisy is living her best, crate-free life with her foster mom, a stay-at-home artist.
