Butch "Cassidy" was so loved by his mama that when she became hospitalized she paid to board him for many months. When she realized that she would have to go into assisted living, she made the heartbreaking decision to surrender him to Boston Terrier Rescue of East Tennessee.
This handsome little Boston had a difficult transition, but BTRET would not give up on him and after several failed adoptions he became a BTRET forever foster. After over a year of sitting in the BTRET boarding facility, Cassidy had the privilege of being flown by Woody with Pilots N Paws to an experienced foster that hoped to rehabilitate him.
Cassidy's rehabilitation was limited and the daily anxiety medications were helpful, but he remains a well loved forever foster. His forever foster mama says that Cassidy has blossomed into a very loving little man and he goes into protection mode anytime someone comes near her or enters their home. She believes that he would protect her with his dying breath.
